PIC School Year AFTER SCHOOL JOBS

The PIC partners with specific schools, local nonprofit organizations, and community centers to offer Boston Public High School students, grades 9 - 12 to work during the school year.
​
Students working with the PIC will be required to work at their assigned worksite and participate in weekly work readiness workshops.

Who can apply?
  • Must be age 16+ by July 1, 2023
  • Must be a Boston Public Schools student
  • Must be a current 9th - 12th grader 
  • Must be authorized to work in the US

Explore PIC SUmmer Internships

You will gain skills that enhance your resume as well as increase your career options. Working at a PIC Internship, you will explore the industry of your choice and participate in the tasks and responsibilities preformed daily by professionals. You will experience workplace culture, politics, and professional etiquette.

PIC SUmmer Community BAsed JOBS 

The PIC offers Boston Public High School students, grades 9th - 12th, summer job positions as camp counselors, support staff, or administrative assistants at community centers, small businesses, health and daycare centers, and local youth clubs across the City of Boston. 
​
Neighborhoods include Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan, Jamaica Plain, East Boston, Charlestown, Brighton, and Chinatown. Opportunities in West Roxbury, Hyde Park, and Roslindale may be limited.  

Dates: July - August | 25+ hours/week
Wage: $15/hour
