More Than Words| 15+ More Than Words is a youth-led online and retail bookselling business that provides paid employment for young adults to prepare for meaningful careers. Youth work here for 6-12 months in our core social and then graduate into the Career Services Program, where they are supported for an additional two years Click here to learn more and apply.
Hill To Harbor Corps| 15 - 18 years old As members of the Youth Conservation Corps (YCC), teens will work with park rangers to facilitate virtual summer camps for local organizations, build professional skills, and learn about the National Parks of Boston. Hill to Harbor YCC's typically work in one of two teams: as part of "Harbor Discovery Camps" or "Trails to Freedom Discovery Camp" teams. Food Project Summer Program| 14 - 17 years old (Bi-Weekly Stipend) Seed Crew spends morning working on the food project farm and most afternoons in workshops learning about sustainable agriculture, food access, social justice, and more. Seed Crew members see the impact of their work when they prepare and serve the food they grow at hunger relief organizations, and by staffing The Food Project’s SNAP-accessible farmers’ markets. Stewards of the Future Summer Program| 15+ Stewards will engage with staff and visitors virtually. If health and safety protocols allow, there may be some outdoor, in person opportunities. Historias de Boston| 15 - 18 years old Young people must be available for 9 weeks in the spring and 7-8 weeks in the summer Historias de Boston is a youth employment program that focuses on sights, sounds, and stories of Boston’s diverse communities and history. Youth will learn video and audio production tools and techniques with an emphasis on digital storytelling and historical research of the parks. Together we will learn and produce projects about the National Parks of Boston. Eliot School Summer Program - Visual Arts/Woodworking Teen Aide| 15 - 18 years old This is a seven-week program that focuses on craft, curiosity and innovation in a fun and supportive environment. Our summer team includes highly qualified art specialists and teachers who work with us year-round in after-school classes and in our School and Community Partnerships. Each week will have a theme that students will explore in a variety of mediums including wood, fiber, paper, and more.
